This policy explains what 196 Global LLC (“196 Global,” “we”) collects through this website and through 196 Global Forms, how we use it, and the choices you have.

The short version

  • We only collect what you send us and what any website needs to load.
  • Form messages go straight to the business’s own inbox. The form service keeps no copy.
  • Gmail access is send-only. We never read anyone’s email.
  • No ad or tracking cookies, and we never sell personal information.

01What this covers

This policy covers www.196global.com, the “Start a project” form on it, emails and calls with us, and 196 Global Forms, the form service at forms.196global.com that sends form submissions from our own websites and the websites we build and run for clients.

02What we collect

  • What you send us: the details you enter in a form, such as your name, email address, phone number, company and message, and anything you tell us by email or phone.
  • Technical information: when you visit, your browser sends your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested and the time. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, uses this to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
  • Fonts and page code: to display this site, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts and an animation library from cdnjs (run by Cloudflare). Those providers receive your IP address and browser details when it does.

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we’ll update this policy and ask for consent where the law requires it.

03How we use it

  • to reply to you and prepare proposals;
  • to provide the services you hire us for;
  • to keep our websites and the form service secure and free of spam and abuse; and
  • to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

04How 196 Global Forms handles a submission

When you send a form on a website that uses 196 Global Forms, the service checks it (for example, that required fields are filled in and that it came from that website) and emails it to that business’s own inbox, sent from that business’s own Google Workspace account. The service does not keep a copy of your submission in a database; the email is kept in that business’s mailbox. Our hosting provider may keep short-term technical logs, such as IP addresses and errors, for a few days.

When the website belongs to one of our clients, that business decides how it uses your inquiry, and its own privacy policy applies to it. 196 Global handles the submission on that business’s behalf.

05Google account access

A business that uses 196 Global Forms connects its sending Gmail account once. That connection allows 196 Global Forms only to send email and to see the account’s email address, so the service can confirm it’s the right account. It does not read, store, change or delete any email in that account. The sign-in token is stored encrypted and used only to send that business’s form emails. The business can disconnect at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

196 Global Forms’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

06Who we share it with

  • service providers that run our websites and email: Cloudflare (hosting and security) and Google (Google Workspace, Gmail and Google Fonts);
  • the business whose website you used, for submissions sent through 196 Global Forms;
  • professional advisers, and authorities when the law requires it; and
  • a buyer or successor if our business is sold or reorganized, with appropriate protections.

We do not sell personal information.

07How long we keep it

We keep inquiries and project records for as long as we need them to work with you and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, then delete them. Submissions sent through 196 Global Forms are kept by the receiving business, not by the service.

08Security

We use encrypted connections, encrypted storage for sign-in tokens, limits on how often a form can be sent, and access controls on our accounts. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send passwords, payment card numbers or other highly sensitive information through a form.

09Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@196global.com. For a submission you sent through a client’s website, contact that business; we’ll help them answer your request.

10Children

Our website and services are for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.

11Changes

We may update this policy as our services change. The effective date above shows the current version.
